messtec drives Automation

The specialist magazine messtec drives Automation (circulation 25,000) resulted from the fusion of the two magazines MESSTEC & Automation (18th year of publication) and drives & motion (6th year of publication) in 2010. As the subtitle "measure – control – drive – test" describes, the new title combines all aspects of automation technology in a single magazine.

Under the Automation heading you can find an overview of products and solutions from the fields of control technology, industrial communication (including the relevant peripheral equipment -switching technology, energy distribution, wireless, power supply etc.), connection technology and safety and security.The Drives & Motion section includes topics regarding mechanical and electrical drive technology as well as motion control, as well as the relevant peripheral equipment necessary for moving and driving machines and equipment. The Sensors section deals with all types of sensors and components for processes, production and OEMs. The Inspection section includes the various facets of industrial image processing, identification, materials testing as we as optical and dimensional measuring devices. In the Test & Measurement section, methods and equipment for the recording and processing of data are discussed. In addition, the Industrial Computing section appears four times per year. Here, the subjects of embedded systems, industrial PCs and operation and monitoring are presented.

messtec drives Automation is published ten times per year. The 7-8/10 issue is the special supplement PRO-4-PRO (circulation 30,000) and for the SPS/IPC/DRIVES, there is a special edition "Real-Time_Ethernet" (formerly "Ethernet for Motion & Drives") with a circulation of 25,000.
